An MBA is one of the most sought-after degrees, opening doors to numerous career opportunities in the corporate sector. Admission to MBA programs requires candidates to clear entrance examinations conducted at the state and national levels.

Entrance Exams for Admission

Candidates seeking admission to our MBA program can apply through various entrance exams:

✅ TG ICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test)

A state-level exam conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.

✅ National-level exams such as CAT, MAT, and CMAT are also considered.

TS ICET Qualifying Criteria:

Expedita veritatis consequuntur nihil tempore laudantium vitae denat pacta

✅ Minimum 25% marks required

✅ No minimum marks required for SC/ST candidates

This exam serves as a gateway for admission into MBA programs offered by universities and affiliated institutes across Telangana.




Eligibility Criteria for MBA Admission

To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:

✅ Bachelor’s Degree:

A minimum three-year undergraduate degree from a recognized university.

✅ Minimum Percentage Required:

General category: 50% aggregate

Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC): 45% aggregate

Final Year Students:
Candidates appearing for their final-year exams can also apply.

Distance Learning Graduates:
The degree must be recognized by UGC, AICTE, and DEC.

English Proficiency: Strong written and spoken English skills are preferred.




Documents required for Admission

Total MBA Seats: 360

The admission is based on merit.

TSICET College Code : SMSW(Girls) & SMSB(Boys)

1) 70% through TGICET Convener for Un-Aided Minority Professional Institutions.

2) 30% Management seats.

Candidates must submit the following documents at the time of admission/registration:

1. TG ICET Hall Ticket
2. TG ICET Rank Card
3. Transfer Certificate (TC) from Undergraduate College
4. Provisional Certificate from Undergraduate Course
5. Consolidated Marks Memo of Undergraduate Course
6. Intermediate (10+2) Marks Memo
7. Intermediate Bonafide Certificate
8. SSC (10th Class) Marks Memo
9. School Bonafide Certificate (Class I to X)
10. Undergraduate Bonafide Certificate
11. Migration Certificate (For non-Osmania University students)
12. Equivalence Certificate from Osmania University (For candidates from other states)
13. Gap Certificate from MRO (For candidates with a gap in education)
14. Parent’s Residence Certificate from MRO (For candidates from other states, proving residency in Telangana for the last 10 years)



Management Quota / B - Category

Direct Admission Without Entrance Exam

Shadan Institute of Management Studies also offers direct admission under the Management Quota, where candidates can secure admission without an entrance exam score.
